Wandering around Target this past weekend, I discovered a beautiful stoneware mug buried among Joanna Gaines’ exclusive home brand, Hearth and Hand.
The design was pretty, but is was the message imprinted on the mug that really spoke to me. It simply stated in black bold text, “Actually, I can.”
You got into business for a reason. Maybe because you have always dreamed of using your talents to support your family. Maybe because you feel like you have a light that you just need to shine. You have a gift to share with the world.
But did you ever stop to think about the gifts your business has given you?

Some days I wish that there would be a good way to do that in business, as well.

As 2017 is coming to a close, business owners are beginning to fret about plans and preparation for the coming year. Working on strategy is important. Yet, equally valuable to your business is making time for celebration.
Validate your hard work and recognize how far you’ve come. Draw strength from your accomplishments and use it to increase momentum for the coming year.
Me and Grammar?
Never. We were not friends in school.
When I graduated, I knew I would never think about grammar again.
Yet somehow, since I started my blog, I've googled more grammar questions than I did over my entire life.
Suddenly, I have the patience to learn the difference between EACH and EVERY.
And it's not just grammar.
I see myself having the strength and courage to do things that I always thought were just 'not my type'.
