An Easy Way To Stay In Touch

Are you like me and love to stay in touch with your clients by sending a sweet card or a special something in the mail?

An Easy Way To Stay In Touch

When I first started my business, I would print my custom cards from a great photo printing website. I ordered the custom card to my house, and then take care of mailing it out myself. The cards were absolutely gorgeous, however I found that there were so many steps involved. I began to look for a simpler idea.

Recently I found a solution that makes sending cards in the mail easy and fun.

It's called Postable.

Postable is a website that lets you choose, customize, and mail your card directly through their website! It's seriously the best.

Postable offers the following three amazing options:

  1. You can choose from an endless amount of pre-designed cards in all different styles.

  2. You can upload a completely custom design.

  3. You can personalize a professional template by adding your business logo and a photo.

Okay, so by now I’m assuming that you are excited as I am about using Postable. But you might be wondering when exactly is a good time to send a card in the mail to your client.

Here are a couple of ideas:

  • When they first sign up to work with you.

  • When they are halfway through a package with you.

  • At the conclusion of their contract.

  • When your client hits a particular milestone or goal.

  • To say thank you for a referral.

  • All holidays are great excuses for a card.

  • To wish them Happy Birthday.

  • Hey, it's okay to send a card for no reason at all. Just Because.

What should you write in the card?

The main thing is not to think too hard. Write what you are feeling. Be genuine.

Imagine the client is in front of you right now. What would you want her to know? Now write that.

Say thank you. Share a real compliment. Offer well wishes for the future.

Friend, I hope this article inspired you to finally take just a few minutes to connect with your clients on a more personal level.

Enjoy Postable and let me know how it works for you!
